Here’s a joint from (a veteran bathroom rapper) Luluraps, stepping up and stepping out with his game with this release of ‘Cashmare’ in which he samples Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey’s ‘Arambada’ and WuTang’s C.R.E.A.M . Cashmare, coined from Cash + (Night)mare, depicts the struggles of a youth. The track is obviously a deviation from the ‘commercial music’ popular culture prevalent in Nigeria today. At last a breath of fresh air, there’s hope for Hip-Hop in Nigeria.
